When I saw that Panago had a Beef Taco Pizza, I just had to get my hands on it. I have been a fan of Panago for about a year and a half and can't believe I only just found out (after constantly just getting a plain cheese pizza..I know I know). I love tacos, I love pizza, how could I go wrong?
At first when I opened it I was incredibly thrilled at the presentation, but I wasn't sure about having so many cold toppings on top of a hot pizza, especially the cheese..? Took the first slice and it was messy, but messy is always better than having very little toppings. The toppings are salsa, ground beef, red onion, mozzarella, sour cream, lettuce, fresh tomatoes and cheddar cheese. In all honesty it was lacking the salsa, red onion, and you could hardly taste the mozzarella. The ground beef could have been a little more seasoned, and the cheddar would have been better on the base with the hot toppings, instead of on top with the cold.
I was a little disappointed because this pizza could have been something amazing, but from now on I guess i'll just stick to having my pizza and tacos separately.
